The aim of this showcase is the pursuit of excellence, we want to inspire and share best practice so that e-learning can always be viewed in a positive light. There will be a difference of opinion and a dependence on the context but you make up your own mind and rate it as you see it.

Once you’ve registered and logged into the Learning Management System (LMS) there will be a sample course already assigned to you on your home-page. This can be your base to compare the rest against which you will find in the catalogue.

Each course should consist of upto 6 lessons:

• A piece of e-learning (5 minutes max)
• Designers notes
• Evaluation form - opportunity to rate the e-learning
• Forum – link to other ‘learners’ on that course
• Brochure with info about the course supplier
• Weblink to the suppliers website

Also we want to give an opportunity to individuals who are looking for work as a developer and/or instructional designer to demonstrate their abilities on the site. There will be a separate section in the catalogue for individuals to showcase their expertise.

In this section the course will consist of:

• A piece of e-learning (5 minutes max)
• Designers CV
